Club Logo,The new logo has been chosen for the club, still a bit of ‘tweeking’ to be done but the finished article should be ready in the next week or so. Once everyone has agreed then I will source a supplier, prices etc, would hope to have the new patches ready by the end of Feb.

  • Events Diary, Currently compiling a list of events for this year, Rallies, Runs, etc, if anyone has any dates for anything that maybe of interest then please let either Lesley or Steve know so it can be added to the Events List on the Web-site.
  • Furry Boots Rally. 26th 27th, 28th May 2006.

Rally Committee has started planning this years Rally, Flyers and Tickets will be posted out by the end of January and Posters will be ready to distribute. Next Rally Meeting at Ronson’s and Elaine’s Sunday 15th Jan at 2pm.

  • Weekend Runs, Following a discussion at the last meeting the general consenus is to have a club weekend away on the May Bank Holiday Weekend 28/29/30/01 April instead of going to the Buzzards in Dornoch. Road Captain (Keith) has therefore proposed the following route

Friday night, leave Huntly (?) by 7:30 (maybe try for 7:00 to allow for latecomers) and stay at the youth hostel

On Saturday, leave Inverness about 9:30 going to Oban via Loch Carron, Loch Shiel and Glencoe. I'd suggest meeting anyone who was not staying in Inverness at Spean Bridge, maybe at the Little Chef at around 2 p.m. That should see us in Oban by 6.

On Sunday people can please themselves, Ronson mentioned at trip down to the Mull of Kintyre which is about a 200-mile round trip. I'd be up for that, depending on Saturday night's festivities...

There's plenty of other stuff to do though.

On Monday I was thinking of coming back from Oban via Crieff and Glenshee. That's about 204 miles right back to Aberdeen according to Autoroute.

If you are interested in this weekend then let Keith know as he will need to book the accommodation sooner rather than later.

Lesley.
